2nd Plumstead has a Facebook Group for sharing news, discussion and photos of our activities. At the Area Awards ceremony we received a 7th place certificate in the Tonkin Trophy for overall achievement during the year.  Well done to the scouters, scouts and cubs (especially the cubs!) for contributing to this achievement. Well done also to Troop Scouter Marlin who received a national long service award and to Linda Connor who received a Provincial Commissioner's Commendation for oustanding service (committee member for many years).

The Pack did us proud by winning the Edward Shield .

Congratulations to the Seamanship 2008 team, they swept the competition away winning every trophy available, we hope to see a similar victory next year.

 

Well done to Kelly, Chris, Benjy, Sean, Vaughan and Daniel for achieving an amazing 2nd place in Kontiki 2008, and for winning the special centenary challenge.

On the evening of Saturday the 11 Nov 2007, 2nd Plumstead held a 'Fish and Chips' evening to celebrate our 75th anniversary.
Many families were there and many stories shared as the old scouts and scouters came back to the troop once more.

The food was good, fish and chips served in foil and newspaper to give the event a casual atmosphere, and pudding to round it all off.
